How does Rabbit Box come up with themes? Connecting communities, one story at a time, is part of what Rabbit Box hopes to be doing. As active members of our community, we look for good ideas that might have a buzz but is broad enough that folks in our community can tell a good story.
The process: each board member submits ideas. We talk about each idea, ponder them, combine some, ponder some more, and then talk about them again. Finally we narrow the number of themes (at last count we had 37 suggestions for the 5 shows in 2023), then begin narrowing them down into feasible ideas and finally assign months. Along with the themes we discuss visuals as we see the theme. It is not a short nor easy process. November’s theme is LAST CALL.
